Financial Information

2011 Financial Review
2011 IRS Form 990
Finance/Review Committee: The Board Finance Committee is comprised of independent board members who are not on staff and includes a minimum of one finance professional at all times. This committee also serves as the Audit/Review Committee. The Finance Committee is directly responsible for overseeing the auditor/reviewer’s activities. It also sets rules and processes for internal control practices. In California, the Nonprofit Integrity Act of 2004 requires that any charity registered with the attorney general and receiving annual gross revenues of $2 million or more must form an audit committee. Although Bread & Roses does not meet that $2 million threshold requirement, we voluntarily undergo an independent third-party financial review each year.
