Happy Birthday Mimi! April 30, 2020 would have been your 75th birthday. We think about you every day. Though you left this earthly world in July of 2001, you are still the star in the sky that continues to illuminate our work at Bread & Roses. We think you would be proud that we are continuing the great legacy that you started at Bread & Roses, now in its 46th year of bringing free, live music and the performing arts to isolated audiences in Bay Area institutional settings.
We hope these photos bring back fond memories for all who were fortunate to know Mimi and show why we are inspired by her example to this day.
